The distinctive voice of Ireland: Seán Keane in Concert
Seán Keane will be joined by Pat Coyne on guitar and Fergus Feely on mandocello. This year also marks Seán's 40th year on the stage as a full time musician. He joined a band named Shegui in 1979 when he went to London. Since then he has released 11 solo albums, three compilations and two DVD's 'The Scattering' and "Seán Keane Live". Last year he recorded a twelve track album with the RTE Concert Orchestra. Seán will be singing many of his classic songs like Isle of Hope Isle of Tears, From Galway to Gracelands, No stranger to the Rain and some new ones also.
This year he has commenced a new project with his family in the Keane Family cottage in Carragh, the home of his family and made famous by his two aunts Rita and Sarah. People can book to visit Carragh, have dinner in the parlour and enjoy two hours of music by Seán and assembled guest musicians. A four hour experience, a must for any music fan.
Seán is just back from another successful tour in Germany, and for 2020 Austria, England, Scotland, Germany, France and Belgium are all planned.
