Using extracts from Hamlet as a base text, ‘This House in Elsinor’
is an immersive, site-responsive, promenade theatre presentation which
will be staged, late-evening, in various parts of the Moat Theatre
building on Culture Night.
Devised using Shakespeare’s Hamlet as its source text, small audience
groups will move into places, they would not normally inhabit,
experiencing snapshots from Hamlet’s storyline, allowing them the kind
of intimate relationship with the actor that is often only shared with
the director in the rehearsal room.
