Little Shop of Horrors! - St Mary’s College Naas

This year St Mary’s Transition Years invite you to meet Seymour Krelborn, a shy and awkward nerd who is working for Mr Musnik in his struggling flower shop. The flowers are tired and dying, much like everything else on Skid Row, that is apart from Seymour’s smouldering crush on Audrey, his fellow co-worker. To save the business, Seymour displays on of his more exotic plants in the shop’s window. He presents his mysterious Venus fly-trap plant that he has named Audrey II.

The plan is a success, and the business is saved but soon Seymour discovers the plant isn’t all that it seems. Audrey II begins to speak and tells Seymour to feed him what he truly wants – human blood. When Audrey returns to the shop with her boyfriend Orin Scrivello, D.D.S., Seymour begins to hatch a dangerous plan…
