When is the Box Office open?

The Moat Theatre Box office is open Tuesday - Friday from 10am - 3pm and closed on Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

The Moat Café is also open during the above hours.

Where can I park?

The Moat Theatre does not have a designated car park. During busy shows/periods, we recommend arriving early to ensure you can find parking before a show.

What happens if I am late?

Late attendees will be allowed into shows at the discretion of staff on duty.

Can I get a refund on tickets bought?

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled by the venue or promoter.

How accessible is the Theatre?

The Moat Theatre building is fully accessible both front of house and backstage as follows:

  • The main entrance is wheelchair accessible.

  • Seats are available in the first row for wheelchair users.

  • There are dedicated toilet facilities for disabled patrons in the foyer and backstage.

  • We have a Closed Loop system for people with hearing difficulties.

  • There is disabled car parking available in the main car park.

  • People with special accessibility needs are asked to advise the Box Office when booking.

  • Staff are available to assist all.

Can I rent the Theatre?

The Theatre is available to rent by using the form by contacting Paul at manager@moattheatre.com. Our state of the art Theatre is fully adaptable for shows, musical performances, recordings and movie showings.
