The Muddy River Band

Back by public demand! … a well known catch phrase you'll see on posters and bill boards. Well, in the case of the Muddy River Band it couldn't be more true. Following on from their last sell outs how at the Moat Theatre, Naas, "The Muddies" return on Sat. 8th of Nov. 2025 for another what is sure to be "sell out" performance.

"What could be better than performing to an enthusiastic audience and singing the songs of your musical hero!"

So says Muddy River Band member Willie Headon who along with fellow musicians and singers Pete Kavanagh and Pat Silke perform the songs of their respective music icons Tom Petty, Neil Young and Bob Dylan.

What started out as a one off gig just for fun has exploded into a highly successful music tribute show with standing ovations after every performance.

Offering a mix of more laid back acoustic renditions along with a selection of high energy electric numbers, Headon, Kavanagh and Silke along with the rest of the exceptionally talented seven piece Muddy River Band perform a full two hour show of Petty, Young and Dylan classics ranging from the 60s and 70s right through to their most recent works. So if you're a fan of any of these music legends or indeed all three, then you simply have to see this show!
