Heather Sammon

is a Mezzo Soprano from Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare. She is currently a member of the Irish National Opera Studio for the 2025/2026 season. Prior to this, Heather was a member of the company chorus with INO from 2022 to 2024.

This season with INO, she performed as Lapek/Innkeeper’s Wife in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen and is currently covering the role of Adalgisa in Bellini’s Norma. She recently appeared at Wexford Festival Opera, where she sang the role of the Friend of the Infanta in Zemlinsky’s The Dwarf.

Heather was previously a member of the Opera Studio at Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège in Belgium, where she studied under renowned soprano Patrizia Ciofi. During her time there, she made her stage debut as Roussette in Marco Taralli’s Le Château enchanté and as Hedwige in Petit Guillaume, an adaptation of Rossini’s Guillaume Tell.

Heather is a BA graduate in Music and Irish from Maynooth University. She also completed a diploma in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Lynda O’Connor

is one of Ireland’s leading violinists, making her National Concert Hall debut at just four years old. She has since performed extensively across Ireland, Europe, Asia, and the USA as both a soloist and chamber musician.

Highlights of her career include appearances with Camerata Ireland, the International Mahler Orchestra, and performances alongside artists such as Barry Douglas, Nobuko Imai, and Chee Yun Kim. In 2024, she performed for Prince Albert of Monaco.

Lynda is also an active recording artist, with recent releases including Folk Tales 2 (Naxos) and her debut solo album The Irish Seasons (Avie Records), featuring Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and a new work by Ailbhe McDonagh.

She performs on an 1891 Gand & Bernardel violin.

Rebecca Warren

is an Irish répétiteur, collaborative pianist and musical director working with leading singers, opera companies and festivals across Ireland and the UK.

She has worked with Wexford Festival Opera and Buxton International Festival, contributing to a wide range of productions and returning in 2026 as répétiteur and Chorus Master for The Merry Widow and répétiteur for Rossini’s L’equivoco stravagante. She has also directed productions from the piano, including works by Donizetti, Smyth and Bizet.

Rebecca regularly collaborates with singers in recital and coaching, with particular expertise in French, Italian, German and English repertoire. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she was awarded the Arts Council of Ireland Next Generation Artist Award in 2020 and will be Artist-in-Residence at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris in 2026.
