The Moat Theatre’s Refunds & Returns Policy
In line with industry norms, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled by the venue or promoter.
It is the general policy of the Moat Theatre to follow these norms, however, we have several measures in place to assist should you need to cancel a booking.
If The Show Is Cancelled
If your show date was cancelled and rescheduled we can transfer your booking to your preferred date.
If you can not attend a rescheduled date, we can issue you a gift voucher for the amount of your ticket purchase.
If the show is cancelled but not rescheulded we can issue you a gift voucher for the amount of your ticket purchase.
If You Need To Cancel Your Booking
If you need to cancel the following guidelines apply:
For cancellations up to 24 hours prior to an event we can list your ticket for resale. If sold we can reimburse you the cost of your bookings, or if not sold, issue you a gift voucher for the amount of your ticket purchase.
If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of a scheduled event we can list your ticket for resale. If sold we can reimburse you the cost of your bookings, however, we are not in a position to offer a refund or gift voucher.
If You Are Unsatisfied
If you are unsatisfied with this arrangement please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and include the show name, your name and telephone number and reason for we will do our best to facilitate your needs.
3rd Party Productions
When an event is organised and produced by an outside agency, ie., they have rented space in our theatre to run their own shows, The Moat Theatre acts only as a facilitator to this end.
In this instance, the Refunds and Returns Policy of the relevant agency will apply.
The Moat Theatre have no control in this regard.
